EDUCATION

Tina is a family nurse practitioner who is compassionate about providing comprehensive primary care to individuals of all ages. She values collaborative, family-centered care and has a huge regard for improving access and continuity of care. She is known for her meticulous approach to ensure that no detail is overlooked in assessing, diagnosing, and managing her patient’s care. 

Tina completed her Post-Master Degree Nurse Practitioner training and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021. She then went on to join the Child & Youth Primary Care NP clinic at BC Children’s Hospital as a Family Nurse Practitioner where she further developed her knowledge and experience in providing primary care services for children from ages 0 through 19 years with medical and social complexity. She joined iHeath MD Marine Drive Clinic in May 2025. 

Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, Tina spent 16 years working as a bedside nurse, patient care coordinator, and nurse clinician in acute care hospitals, communities, and a number of other care environments. Her diverse clinical experience, including cardiovascular intensive care unit, coronary care unit, heart & lung transplant, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, and chronic disease management, has shaped her into a clinician known for her clinical precision and compassionate care. 

In addition to her clinic work, Tina served as a clinical instructor and lecturer in several undergraduate nursing programs where she taught courses such as pathophysiology, health assessment, and clinical practice. Her dual role as clinician and educator allows her to bring the latest evidence-based knowledge into her practice. 

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending quality time with her family and taking her sheepadoodle for long walks. She is interested in maintaining a balanced lifestyle through fitness, mindfulness, and healthy eating.
